Professional and academic work
My professional and academic work for the last few years has been on ways of saving energy and reducing CO2 emissions from the use of buildings, particulary in home heating. More recently I have been researching how today's money system can be better utilised to support the transition to clean energy. This involves helping people understand issues such as central banking, commercial banking, governnment budgeting, foreign exchange, cryptocurrencies, tax regimes, and what needs to be done to shift finance away from fossil fuels to climate friendly energy that's accessible to all.
In Cambridge, UK I tutor postgraduate students in the
Masters programmes in
Sustainability Leadership at
Cambridge University.
In Aachen, Germany I work in a research team in the
Institute for Future Consumer Needs and Behaviour, in the Business and Economics Faculty of
RWTH-Aachen University.
